At The Cackling Hen’s Porch, every order is packed with care and a touch of whimsy. We want your items to arrive safely and promptly, and we’re committed to clear, friendly communication every step of the way.
Processing Time
All orders are processed within 3–5 business days. This allows us to carefully inspect, package, and prepare your items before they leave the roost.
Processing times may vary during holidays, seasonal peaks, or planned shop vacations. If processing times change, an announcement will be posted on our website so customers always know what to expect.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Shipping Rates
We currently ship within the United States only.
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout and reflect the weight, dimensions, and destination of your items. After your order is handed off to USPS or UPS, any transit delays or delivery issues fall under the carrier’s responsibility. While we’re always happy to help guide you, delivery timing is ultimately managed by USPS or UPS. (See carrier's telephone numbers below).
We occasionally offer free shipping during special promotions or seasonal events. When available, these promotions will be clearly announced on our website and social channels.

Order Tracking
A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
Incorrect Addresses
Please double‑check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we are unable to replace or refund it.
If your package is delayed, lost, or shows as delivered but cannot be located, please contact the carrier directly to open a claim:
